Our class topics are “The Egyptians” (Term 3) and Europe (Term 4)
Here are some of the things we will be doing and learning about this term:

- Stories based around a wish being made.
- Persuasive writing.
- Improving fiction writing by focusing on uplevelling vocabulary, sentence structure and punctuation.
- SpaG revision.

- Multiplication and division of whole numbers.
- Multiplication and division of fractions.
- Decimals – relationship with fractions, comparing, ordering and rounding, adding and subtracting.
- Area, perimeter and volume.

- Animals including humans – the circulatory and respiratory systems; parts and functions.
- Evolution and inheritance – adaptation, fossils, genetics.

- Multimedia – combining text and graphics in meaningful, purposeful ways.
- Useful keyboard shortcuts.
- Tailoring our work to suit given audiences.
- Using computers to communicate.
- Researching, note taking and copyrighting.

- Study of the Egyptians – lifestyles and legacy.
- Map skills – using atlases to identify major cities, rivers, mountain ranges and land marks around the world and in Europe.

- Composing and writing down our own composition on the glockenspiels using correct notation.
