School Performance Data
At Eastington we recognise a whole range of achievements and celebrate the progress made by children as they develop as young learners.
Core skills and knowledge within reading, writing and mathematics are assessed regularly within the school year to ensure quality teaching and learning opportunities are provided for all. At the end of Key Stages, assessments are made through teacher judgement and national tests. This helps the school to identify trends and support further improvement.
From 2023/24 KS1 National Assessments are no longer required. At Eastington, children will continue to undertake a range of assessments to support teacher judgement at the end of KS1 and enable specific areas for further teaching and support.
