Narrative writing based on ‘Talk for Writing’ story – a finding tale called “Adventure at Cambury Park” List Poems Recounts Weekly spelling test with a new list given on a Thursday for homework

Maths | Money including converting pounds and pence. Adding/subtracting money
Time using 12-hour and 24-hour clocks Angles – identifying acute, obtuse and right angles. Comparing and ordering angles Shape and symmetry – comparing and classifying geometric shapes including quadrilaterals and triangles Measures: volume and capacity Co-ordinates Statistics including bar charts, pictograms and tables Times Tables Rock Stars will also continue and 50/100 club each week

Science | Animals including humans – right types and amount of nutrition. Skeletons and muscles
Setting up enquiries, fair tests, making predictions, carrying out investigations, recording results and writing conclusions Rocks and soils – comparing and grouping rocks. How fossils are formed. Recognising that soils are made from rocks and organic matter |
